Job Description
Our client is hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This role will lead and oversee day?to?day AP operations in a fast?paced, fully onsite environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely payment processing while managing and developing the AP team. Responsibilities Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments Lead, mentor, and manage the AP team, including workload distribution, training, and performance support Review and approve invoices, payment runs, and exception items in accordance with internal controls Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal control standards Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership on month?end close, reconciliations, and reporting Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, efficiency, and accuracy Maintain accurate vendor records and support audits as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 4+ years of accounts payable experience, including people management or team leadership Strong knowledge of full?cycle AP processes and internal controls Experience working in a high?volume, deadline?driven environment Proficiency with accounting systems and strong Excel skills Excellent organizational, communication, and problem?solving abilities Ability to work fully onsite and collaborate cross?functionally Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
