In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and repair of our residential and manufacturing facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. Your expertise will help uphold high standards of mechanical, electrical, and structural integrity, contributing to smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals. Assist with electrical repairs, including troubleshooting circuits with tools such as ohmmeters and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes. Conduct welding tasks and mechanical repairs to maintain structural integrity and equipment functionality. Support residential painting projects and general facilities upkeep to enhance the appearance and safety of the property. Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist with small maintenance teams during projects, demonstrating leadership and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Collaborate with customer service teams to address maintenance requests promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to residents or manufacturing operations. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or residential settings. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential. Hands-on welding skills and the ability to perform basic carpentry or painting tasks are highly desirable. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and the use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to guide junior team members effectively. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
