Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a team of three AP professionals while overseeing the full accounts payable function across multiple entities. Responsibilities Manage and mentor a team of 3 Accounts Payable staff members Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process for multiple entities Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment-related issues Review invoice coding, approvals, and payment processing for accuracy and compliance Oversee ACH payments, wire transfers, and check runs Manage employee expense reimbursements through Concur Lead the annual 1099 preparation and filing process Ensure timely month-end AP close activities and account reconciliations Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and efficiency Partner with internal stakeholders to support business operations and vendor management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounts payable experience with full-cycle AP responsibilities 2+ years of experience supervising or managing Accounts Payable staff Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment methods, and vendor management Experience managing ACH, wire, and check payment processes Experience with expense reporting platforms such as Concur Knowledge of 1099 reporting requirements Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis Construction industry experience is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills IND4
