Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager with proven SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience to lead our revenue cycle management efforts. Duties Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate billing and collections processes. Oversee medical billing operations, including electronic health records (EHR) management, medical coding (ICD coding), and insurance third-party billing. Ensure compliance with all healthcare billing regulations such as Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance policies. Monitor the hospital revenue cycle from patient registration through final payment, identifying areas for process improvement. Collaborate with clinical staff to verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities, denials, appeals, and collections efforts using specialized billing software. Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations related to medical billing, ICD coding, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Experience Extensive experience managing accounts receivable within a healthcare setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). Strong knowledge of healthcare billing management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated expertise in hospital revenue cycle management and healthcare reimbursement procedures. Familiarity with medical coding standards including ICD coding and medical billing regulations for Medicare and Medicaid. Proven ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare billing software is essential. Excellent understanding of health insurance policies, third-party payer requirements, and revenue cycle optimization strategies.
