The Accounts Receivable Manager Lead & Develop the

AR Team:

Manage, mentor, and support a team of AR professionals, including training and performance reviews.

Drive Billing and Collections Success:

Oversee the entire billing and collections process, including sales order creation, invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation. Implement effective billing and collection strategies to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy, maximize cash flow and minimize aged receivables.

Ensure Data Accuracy:

Oversee timely and accurate recording of transactions, maintaining up-to-date records.

Financial analysis and reporting:

analyze data, identify trends, and produce regular reports on the status of accounts receivable, including but not limited to AR aging reports, revenue reports and forecasts, open ticket lists, customer accounts analysis, DSO by divisions, actual to target variance analysis, actual to budget variance analysis, etc.

Foster Client Relationships:

Resolve billing disputes professionally and promptly, ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve issues impacting receivables.

Ensure Compliance:

Maintain adherence to company policies, GAAP standards, and regulatory requirements. Staying up to date on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring billing and collection practices adhere to these standards.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify process enhancements to improve efficiency and strengthen departmental performance.

Requirements and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Minimum three years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or similar role Extensive experience in sales orders, programming, billing, and collections Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Experience using billing software, accounting software and/or ERP systems Experience managing a team of accounts receivable professionals Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup)
