Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Two-year business degree preferred or 5 years experience in hospital billing support functions Experience and knowledge of Medicare Bad Debt regulations, credit balance processing and self pay management Three (3) years healthcare experience preferred. OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain quality and safety standards. Ability to independently drive and facilitate special projects with limited supervision. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for oversight of all Business Office Collectors and Support Staff. The manager will manage rehabilitation and long-term acute care teams for commercial and government AR, self-pay and credit balances.
