Anticipated Start:

Mid-October 2026, subject to timing of the company's acquisition process We are partnering with a global leader in food safety, quality, testing, and sustainability services that is undergoing a significant North American acquisition and integration. As part of this transition, the organization is seeking an experienced AR Manager/Supervisor to step into a hands-on role supporting business continuity while also helping improve and stabilize the accounts receivable function. This is an opportunity for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, getting into the details, identifying what is not working, and putting better processes in place. About the Role The San Antonio operation currently has an accounts receivable backlog and process challenges that require immediate attention. The successful candidate will assess the current AR process, work directly in the receivables, assist with collections, identify root causes, and establish more effective procedures moving forward. This is a player-coach role . We are looking for someone who can provide leadership and direction while remaining highly hands-on with the day-to-day AR function. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the accounts receivable function and assess current processes, procedures, and outstanding balances Work through an existing AR backlog, including older outstanding invoices Support and drive collections efforts to improve aging and cash flow Analyze aging, identify problem accounts, and determine the reasons behind continued outstanding receivables Work directly with the AR team to improve follow-up, account management, and collection practices Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements Develop and implement more consistent AR procedures and controls Help establish a sustainable process for managing aging receivables going forward Partner with accounting and business leadership to resolve issues impacting collections Provide hands-on support while longer-term organizational structure and responsibilities are determined Maintain accurate reporting and provide visibility into AR status, risks, and progress Help ensure continuity of the AR function throughout the company's acquisition and integration activities What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience, including AR leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of the full AR and collections cycle Proven experience working through AR cleanup, aging receivables, collections challenges, or process improvement Hands-on management style with the ability to both lead and execute Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to quickly assess an existing process, identify issues, and implement practical solutions Comfortable working in an environment that is changing and may not have fully established processes Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with accounting and operational leadership Experience with a large, complex, multi-location organization is a plus HighRadius experience is highly preferred Work Environment This position is based in San Antonio, TX and requires four days per week onsite, Monday through Thursday . Friday is generally remote, although occasional onsite attendance may be required for meetings or presentations. The organization is currently preparing for a significant acquisition and integration, so this role is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, process improvement, and making an immediate impact in a changing environment.
