Key Responsibilities Examine financial records, accounting documents, and supporting documentation. Review transactions for accuracy and completeness. Test internal controls and accounting procedures. Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, or potential control weaknesses. Reconcile financial information and supporting records. Perform audit procedures according to established audit plans. Document audit procedures, findings, and supporting evidence. Prepare audit workpapers and reports. Communicate findings to management and appropriate personnel. Make recommendations for improving internal controls and financial processes. Follow applicable professional standards and company policies. Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information. Assist with internal, external, financial, compliance, or operational audits as assigned. Follow up on corrective actions when required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Audit experience preferred. Knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls. Strong analytical and investigative skills. Strong documentation and report-writing skills. Ability to identify inconsistencies and financial risks. CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification may be preferred depending on the position.
