We are seeking a detail oriented Quality & Compliance Associate for a Full Time role working in a clinical setting. As a member of the health care team, the Quality & Compliance Associate provides support to the Quality Assurance Department by collecting and managing quality data. The Quality & Compliance Associate will:

Perform reviews of patient medical records or reviews of reports generated from the medical record or other electronic databases; such as the incident reporting system.

Perform maintenance of internal systems such as PowerDMS by categorizing and reformatting all current policies and procedures. Respond to patient/customer complaints (telephonic, verbal and/or written), including screening and documenting patient compliance hotline calls. Complete an N95 Respirator Fit Testing training course. Perform Fit Testing to meet medical staff member compliance requirements. May conduct regular audits, reviews, and assessments of healthcare practices, policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.

Manage Healthicity for organizational education, adding new users, as well as for patient incident intake (i.e. answering compliance line), tracking, follow-up and reporting.

Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., CMS, AAAHC) by conducting audits, inspections, and surveys. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement development and/or improvement plans to address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues. Including the review of provider charting for compliance with documentation requirements.

Assist in the planning, development, and execution of quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, optimize operational efficiency, and minimize errors. Utilize quality improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PDCA) to drive measurable improvements.

Helps prepare detailed reports, presentations, and summaries of quality assurance activities, findings, and outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of audits, inspections, corrective actions, and other quality-related activities.

What you need:

Associates degree or 4 years related experience. Bachelor Degree in Health Care Management or Business PreferredFamiliarity of accreditation standards and processesCertified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), or obtain within 12 months of employmentA thorough understanding of State and Federal regulations related to health care compliance, as well as AAAHC.Current BLS/ALS certificateMust pass Occupational Health Screening.

Must possess a valid form of identification as listed on the U.S. Department of Justice I-9 form, verified using the E Verify system.

Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance driving eligibility (determined by auto insurance carrier).The position requires an awareness and keen appreciation of American Indian traditions, customs, and socioeconomic needs and the ability at all times to meet and deal effectively in contacts with Indian health organizations which requires tact, courtesy, discretion, resourcefulness and good judgment in handling functions of a sensitive nature.
