Overview Join our team as a Home Energy Auditor and become a vital part of our mission to promote energy efficiency and sustainable living. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of residential properties to identify opportunities for energy savings, improve building performance, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Your expertise will help homeowners reduce costs, enhance comfort, and contribute to environmental conservation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction knowledge and analysis skills in a dynamic, community-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform detailed home energy audits by inspecting building envelopes, HVAC systems, insulation, lighting, and appliances. Collect and analyze data using specialized tools and software to evaluate energy consumption patterns. Provide clear recommendations to homeowners on energy-saving measures and potential upgrades. Document audit findings through detailed reports, including photographs, measurements, and analysis results. Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to facilitate implementation of recommended improvements. Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for report writing and data management. Construction site experience or background in construction projects, especially in residential or civil infrastructure roles. Knowledge of building code analysis, construction regulations, and quality control standards. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and construction specifications accurately. Familiarity with construction inspection processes, quality inspections, and safety regulations. Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining attention to detail during data collection and site assessments. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
