Responsibilities:
Work exclusively with nonprofit clients Actively participate in engagement planning and designing engagement-specific nonprofit audit approach Perform and lead nonprofit audit procedures in more complex financial statement areas Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues, based on professional guidelines including
U.S. GAAP
Research accounting treatment for issues on nonprofit audit engagements, propose solutions and consult with experienced staff as necessary What You Need to be
Successful:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Active CPA license or actively pursuing CPA licensure 3+ years of recent experience planning, performing, and leading nonprofit financial statement audits Experience preparing for, performing and/or leading Federal Single Audits preferred Experience preparing and reviewing Form 990 returns preferred Ability to travel on-site to clients as needed Live in the greater St. Paul/Minneapolis area Valid drivers license More about Redpath and Company
