PM Location:
St. Paul, MN Position Overview We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator I to join an electronics manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating automated wire cutting and stripping equipment while ensuring products meet quality specifications and customer requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or machine operating experience who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with measurements, and interested in a long-term opportunity. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate automated wire cutting and stripping machines. Follow process sheets, work instructions, and production specifications. Change basic machine components such as cutting blades, rollers, and guide tubes as required. Measure and inspect products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances. Count, bundle, and organize completed wire according to job requirements. Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed. Identify and remove defective products while minimizing material scrap. Complete required production and quality documentation accurately. Move between machines and production tasks based on daily needs. Maintain a clean and safe workstation and communicate any production or quality issues to the team. Qualifications Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or production experience preferred. Must be able to accurately read a ruler or tape measure , including basic fractions. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Experience reading process sheets, work orders, or production instructions preferred. Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine setups and adjustments. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic math skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to perform repetitive production work and remain attentive to quality. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30
PM Pay:
$18.00 per hour This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the goal of finding someone who can perform well in the position and develop into a long-term member of the team. INDSP2
