Job Description
Audit SeniorPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic public accounting firm. The Audit Senior will play a key role in leading audit engagements for private companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while providing exceptional client service. This position requires a strong background in audit practices and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the audit process.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of private company clientsManage audit teams and provide training and mentorship to junior staffConduct risk assessments and develop audit plans based on identified risksPerform detailed reviews of financial statements and audit documentationEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulationsCommunicate audit findings and recommendations to clientsAssist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedulesMaintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client serviceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA certification is requiredMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on auditingStrong knowledge of audit standards and proceduresExperience with private companies in a commercial settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
