Job Description

Audit Senior | Tyler, TX | $90,000 to $110,000 If you like public accounting but want a role where the pace feels more sustainable, the team feels more accessible, and you are not buried inside a huge firm structure, this could be worth a look. This is an opportunity to join an independent mid market CPA firm with around 150 people across three offices in Texas. The firm is large enough to offer a strong client base and real career progression, but still small enough for you to work closely with Partners and have your contribution noticed. For an Audit Senior, that means more visibility, more responsibility, and less distance between you and the people making decisions. You will work across a varied client portfolio including nonprofit organizations, financial services businesses, and general commercial clients. It is a good fit if you want broader exposure rather than being pushed into a narrow industry specialism too early in your career. The role is office based in Tyler TX, with flexible working hours available outside of busy season. The firm has built a reputation internally around maintaining a strong work life balance, so this should appeal to someone who wants to keep progressing in public accounting without feeling like every year has to become more demanding than the last. You would suit this opportunity if you are already operating at Senior level, or are close to that point, and want a firm where you can strengthen your client management skills, gain more exposure to Partners, and continue building toward the next stage of your career.
