Be ready to:
Create and/or assist in the creation of audit plans for procedure and data quality audits Lead calibration meetings with other auditors prior to conducting audits to ensure quality Conduct audits on files and processes subject to audit plans Create scorecards and reports detailing audit results Identify deficiency trends as well as causes for deficiencies and provide recommendations to help facilitate improvements Identify new strategic risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation activities and audits to address these risks to the Lead Claims Auditor and/or Claims Audit Manager Interact and work with HQ Claims, Field Claims, Internal Audit and external audit, as needed Work with Corporate Internal Audit during testing of the Claims Department controls, as needed Present audit results to Claims Management Be equipped with: Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel; advanced Excel knowledge a plus Strong CMS skills Analytical skills, including the ability identify trends in data Effective oral and written communication skills Effective leadership skills Detail oriented Ability to work independently Ability and willingness to adapt to change Eagerness to learn new skills and complete educational courses as needed Ability to motivate others to complete tasks to meet deadlines Bring education and experience from: Two or more years claims auditing, examining, supervising or handling experience; Casualty experience a plus Prior experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter (preferred) Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
