Job Description

A leading entertainment company is looking for a Licensing Audit Analyst to join their team. This temp role supports the company's global toy and entertainment brands, focusing on licensing compliance and audit management.
Licensing Audit Analyst Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of licensing audits, from planning to completion, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder communication. Act as the primary contact for external audit firms, licensors, and licensees, coordinating active audit engagements. Examine and verify audit findings, financial calculations, and contractual details; facilitate dispute resolution and settlement discussions. Develop and deliver management reports, including dashboards and audit summaries, to communicate results effectively. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and other departments on audit-related issues and information requests.
Licensing Audit Analyst Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in licensing, royalty auditing, or contract compliance. Strong understanding of licensing agreements, royalty provisions, audit rights, and contractual financial terms. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to summarize complex data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools; familiarity with audit tracking or royalty systems is a plus. Professional certification such as
CPA, CIA, CFE
is preferred.
