Job Description

SALARY RANGE
$16.54 - $20.67 HOURLY/DOE SUMMARY Responsible for BSA/Anti Money Laundering (AML) Program, assist the Compliance Officer with investigations, internal review of Minimum Internal Control Standards, assist with Asset Management, perform other audits and duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for performing the daily audits of the BSA/AML Program, perform periodic data analysis for structuring and suspicious activities, and assist the AML Compliance Officer with investigations, training, and recordkeeping. Reviews, maintains, and provides all Minimum Internal Controls Standards (MICS/TICS) checklists and applicable procedures and confirms they are being performed. Will assist the VP of Finance and Operations Controller with Asset Management including conducting a periodic inventory of all fixed assets. Will provide backup and support to the VP of Finance and Operations Controller. Will be responsible for evaluating and recommending changes to methods and procedures utilized by the staff, including helping to develop and implement policies and procedures to comply with new or updated regulations, leading to improved timeliness, accuracy, efficiency, and control structure.to comply with new or updated coordinates Will assist the departmental staff in documenting and flow-charting the systems, policies, and procedures in use to maintain updated user procedure manuals. Will be responsible for other financial responsibilities and projects as required by the VP of Finance and Operations Controller. Maintain Title 31 compliance accurately. Maintain appropriate documentation on incidents, findings, recommendations, and requests for information as required by policies and procedures. Prepares and presents reports on the status, activities, and plans for current and future operations AML Compliance Officer. Oversees BSA/AML program training-administration. All other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
EDUCATION
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. An Associate's Degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE
6 months experience in the accounting field or related position preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must have knowledge of spreadsheets, Excel preferred. One-year experience working with computers or formal training on computers preferred.
