We are currently searching for a dynamic Assistant Bank Branch Manager to join our Credit Union family. This position is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with all aspects of branch operations, supporting all business development efforts, ensuring excellent member service and maintaining regulatory compliance. This position will work with various departments and business partners to meet organizational targets. This position will be based at our Northshore location in Miami Shores, FL. Please note this is a 4 day per week Branch (see below).
In this position you will:
Responsible for the overall operations of the branch to include but not limited to: 1) ensuring that operational guidelines are being followed by testing, assisting and guiding or providing staff with on-going training; 2) managing monthly branch audits and quality control of all operations aspects of the branch; 3) ensuring branch staff provides quality member service while complying with regulations, credit union policies, and procedures and meeting quality control standards; 4) ensuring all policies and procedures are administered in a fair and consistent manner within ethical and legal standards to minimize litigation exposure; 5) maintaining branch security through dual control, separation of duties and proper security procedures; 6) making decisions within respective authority and established limits and 7) other operational duties as assigned. Perform a myriad of management and supervisory/leadership functions. Responsible for managing the service duties for self and team to include: 1) participating in marketing and community service events; 2) referring members to appropriate business lines to ensure member needs are met and 3) handling basic to complex loan requests for members including having in depth conversations on Residential Mortgage loan applications and Business Services. Responsible for supporting sales initiatives for branch to include: 1) achieving personal goal and supporting branch team goals; 2) cultivating existing book of business and support new business with Branch Manager as needed; 3) assisting Manager with all sales efforts to develop new members and centers of influence; 4) assisting the Branch Manager with referral portal, monthly touchpoints, and onboarding process for new members and 5) using consultative sales approach to develop more products per household while setting example for team. Respond and resolve issues and concerns presented by members in a timely manner. Monitor member feedback and satisfaction levels to implement necessary changes or improvements. Provide support to other branches (travel) and other duties as assigned. Ensure adherence at all times to all PFCU policies and procedures, all required state and federal regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act. To be considered you will need: High School graduate or GED equivalency required. Associates Degree preferred.
Minimum:
4 years of financial services related experience with a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting related discipline may be substituted for 1 year of this experience.
Math Ability:
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with assistance of a calculator. Ability to perform accurate cash transactions.
MS Office applications:
Word and Excel- Intermediate Demonstrated ability to improve our members' financial well-being via timely and relevant referrals. Must have strong attention to detail to include solid data entry with limited errors. Must possess the ability to remain calm, patient, objective, and professional when presented with difficult situations. Must be able to work in a time sensitive environment and communicate decisions to all stakeholders. Must have ability to orally communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to build rapport with members and recommend personalized banking financial solutions. Ability to drive complex sales conversation with members. Demonstrated ability to coach other employees for optimal performance and member satisfaction. Requires successful registration and issuance of a unique identification number from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) in compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE ACT). Must have the ability to meet attendance standards and adhere to work schedule ( See details below ).
Schedule:
Full time during branch hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 6:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
