Position Description:
Overview:
Responsible for the oversight of daily branch operations, security, growth, community service activities and overall branch performance. Performs a variety of duties to generate new business with a focus on lending and deposit growth.
Responsibilities and Results:
Manage the staff, facilities, and activities of the office Thorough understanding of the bank's products and services Deliver professional and courteous communication with current customers, potential customers, employees, referral sources, and management, including timely responses to inquiries, on-going updates, follow-up, etc. Develop and maintain a referral network of community members, realtors, builders, accountants, associations, individuals etc. Maintain branch quality standards as set forth by management Assist branch staff as needed regarding day-to-day activities, conflict resolution, authorizations, etc. Generate mortgage and consumer loans in the lending area and assist in servicing commercial loan relationships Run appropriate and timely qualifying analyses for consumer and mortgage loans Exhibit a working knowledge of applicable bank policies and procedures including but not limited to, internal and external compliance requirements, state and federal regulations and guidelines, etc. Provide a high level of customer service while balancing the requirements of the policies and procedures of the bank and the products/programs being utilized to service the customer Participate in necessary meetings including but not limited to weekly staff meetings, periodic department, or team meetings, etc. Establish, maintain, and coordinate participation in community service activities Supports the Bank's BSA/AML compliance efforts by remaining alert to unusual or suspicious activity and adhering to related policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or GED required Associates' degree preferred
Work Experience:
5+ years Branch Manager experience preferred 3+ years loan origination or related banking experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
Sales Oriented, good interpersonal and excellent communication skills and a strong desire to succeed Ability to manage and lead branch employees Time management and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing and possibly stressful environment Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a team player Experienced with office machines, such as computer, phone systems, copiers, etc. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and other computer software Ability to transcribe meeting minutes Ability to effectively communicate via phone and e-mail Uses discretion and good judgement, shows patience with others

Must be able to keep all sensitive information confidential Job includes talking, hearing and repetitive motions Ability to express and exchange ideas with customers and employees by means of the spoken word, either in person or on the phone Ability to received detailed information through oral communication Visual ability to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer screen and reading procedures Speed and accurate use of computer, calculator and other business machines is required Willingness to assume new responsibilities, ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing and possibly stressful environment is expected The ability to identify, assist with and resolve routine problems is expected Working hours may vary May be required to work in other branch locations as needed On time attendance is expected
Working Conditions:
