Job Description

OVERVIEW
Our client, a leader in facilities and energy solutions — integrating systems, energy-efficient equipment, and sustainability-focused technologies — is seeking a Branch General Manager to lead its New Jersey business. This is a senior leadership seat with full P&L ownership: sales and operational performance, customer relationships, and team leadership all roll up here. The right leader will set the direction for the business while staying close to the customers, teams, and market that drive it — building a culture where decentralized command can thrive, empowering the team to execute with ownership rather than managing every decision from the top. Compensation extends well beyond base salary, with an annual performance-based incentive program and meaningful additional upside for leaders who drive sustained EBITDA growth and create incremental value in their business.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 7+ years of experience in building automation and/or the construction industry 5+ years of management or leadership experience, with a track record of empowering teams and building a culture of ownership and accountability Strong financial acumen with direct experience managing a P&L Demonstrated success growing a business — developing and executing profitable growth and sales strategies Experience leading teams and driving results across multiple business functions Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 35% as business needs require
