Major Duties and Responsibilities Ensure quality of branch service and functions. Monitor and analyze account activity, identify problems and initiate appropriate action/resolution. Attract new deposit relationships and work with marketing on strategies to grow out the branch location. Maintain all branch related compliance standards. Ensure adherence to all appropriate regulations. Manage risk. Work with internal/external auditors. Develop, coach, motivate and discipline branch staff. Manage payroll, PTO etc. Conduct interviews and select new hires. Work directly with customers to promote Bank products and/or resolve high priority issues. Assist management with strategic planning. Implement strategy at the branch level. Develop and implement new products and services. Work with business partners to implement/maintain products. Perform special projects and miscellaneous additional duties as assigned. Knowledge Required This position requires an in-depth knowledge of government retail banking regulations, compliance, policies and procedures such as may be gained through a minimum of five years of banking experience sufficient to be able to perform the full range of standard assignments and resolve recurring problems. In addition, two years in a management role is desired.
