$22 - $28 per hour Role Summary The Accounting Specialist supports daily transactional accounting routines, focused tightly on transactional Accounts Payable and basic cash application workflows. Core Focus Oversee accounts payable workflows, process incoming revenue, and manage tax and audit compliance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage the Beanworks approval pipeline daily, resolving automated exceptions and pushing verified data to Dynamics GP. Schedule vendor payments, facilitate employee expense reimbursements, and reconcile vendor statements. Post and match all daily incoming monies, including checks, electronic payments (ACH/Wire), and credit cards. Administer primary AR and AP email inboxes to process remittances, vendor invoices, and Tele-Check requests. Process ad hoc payments received via phone or email as assigned. Prepare, verify, and report local sales tax and international VAT compliance filings. Support internal and external audit and compliance requirements by gathering requested documentation. Cross-train and serve as Primary Alternate for Credit & Collections, and Secondary Alternate for Billing. Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred, OR 3+ years of equivalent transactional accounting experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong experience with AP automation software (Beanworks highly preferred) and midmarket ERPs (Dynamics GP).
Core Skills:
Fundamental understanding of GAAP, ledger structures, and sales tax rules.
