Accounts Payable Associate

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Associate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process accounts payable: match invoices to POs, code, review, and enter into system.
• Regularly check vendor statements for unpaid invoices.
• Monitor purchase orders for outstanding invoices.
• Maintain and update vendor account details.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Keep accurate and organized files and documentation.
• Assist with additional projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• High school diploma required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and 10-key by touch.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, basic accounting, documentation and research, data analysis, and multitasking.
• Able to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Quick and accurate with math (percentages, fractions, basic operations).

• College courses in accounting
• Experience with Sage ERP
• Experience in purchasing/procurement
