Sky Lift Rentals specializes in renting high reach equipment for commercial construction projects large and small.
Our rental fleet includes:
personnel lifts, scissorlifts, boomlifts, forklifts, material lifts, trenchers, backhoes and excavators. All of our equipment is from leading manufacturers to ensure our customers get the safest and most reliable piece of equipment available. Sky Lift Rentals' knowledgeable, experienced and personable team provides its customers with an exceptional rental experience. Our Sales Team makes sure you get the equipment you need for your specific job. We pride ourselves in having quality equipment at competitive pricing. Our Service Team makes sure the equipment is reliable and safe. We ensure timely delivery and pickup of your equipment and more importantly, if you experience a service issue, our Service Team is available to maximize your uptime. Sky Lift Rentals knows the importance of time management and reliability. We make it our goal to get appropriate quality equipment out to our customers on time, so that they can complete their job on time. Most importantly, our relationships with our customers are built on trust and integrity.
Position:
We are looking for a motivated and professional Collections Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to contact customers regarding outstanding balances, make collection calls, secure payments or payment arrangements, and maintain accurate records of collection activity. The ideal candidate is confident speaking with customers, persistent without being aggressive, organized, and comfortable handling payment-related conversations.
Responsibilities:
Make daily outbound collection calls to customers with past-due balances. Follow up consistently on outstanding accounts and promised payments. Communicate professionally with customers regarding balances, invoices, and payment status. Negotiate payment arrangements when appropriate. Process or coordinate payment information according to company procedures. Document all collection calls, customer conversations, payment commitments, and account activity accurately. Identify and escalate disputed balances or account issues when necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records. Meet established collection and productivity goals. Work with internal departments to resolve billing or account discrepancies. Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and respectfully. Perform additional accounts receivable and collection-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or a similar role preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable making outbound phone calls. Confident discussing past-due balances and requesting payment. Strong follow-up and organizational skills. Ability to remain professional when dealing with difficult or frustrated customers. Detail-oriented with accurate data-entry skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn accounting or collection software. Ability to work independently while meeting daily and weekly goals. Bilingual skills are a plus.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
