Chipton-Ross is seeking an Algorithm Computer Engineering & Design Architect 3 for a contract opportunity in Azusa, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): o Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of relevant experience; or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience. o Experience optimizing intra-SoC distributed processing across integrated FPGA, CPU, and GPU components. o Expertise with advanced embedded computing platforms for high-performance, real-time processing. o Experience with modern FPGAs and their integration into embedded systems. o Proven ability to design and implement high-bandwidth (?20 Gbps) real-time processing solutions. o Demonstrated skill in minimizing processing latency in heterogeneous compute architectures. o Strong background in mapping and fitting complex algorithms to fixed hardware configurations. o Knowledge of flight hardware-software co-design principles for embedded/compute-intensive systems. o Distributed Processing Optimization. o Embedded Software Design. o Hardware Configurations. o Real-time processing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking for an Algorithm Computer Engineering & Design Architect to support our Flight Software Department. As a member of the Flight Software Department, you'll get to implement flight software solutions. This position will serve on-site at our Azusa, California office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): o Expertise with NVIDIA Orin Jetson platforms for high-performance, real-time processing. o Ability to translate MARs into flight software code. o Strong math proficiency for algorithm development and implementation. o Proficiency in software development and execution for embedded/flight systems. o Understanding of kernel-level concepts (OS, kernel, low-level software). o Experience working in flight environments (real-time operating systems, flight software constraints). o Experience integrating software into third-party platforms. o Strong background in embedded systems development. o Experience with flight hardware and hardware-software integration. o Hands-on experience implementing algorithms in embedded/flight code. o Familiarity with Agile project management practices. o Active DoD Secret clearance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is required. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
9/80 workweek. This position will serve on-site at Azusa, California.
