Are you an Accounts Payable Specialist looking to grow your accounting career with a leading manufacturing company in San Jose? LHH is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company, to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a collaborative finance team that supports production, supply chain, and business operations.Why this role stands out:

Hands-on role with visibility across multiple departments and opportunities for long-term growth What you'll be doing: Review and accurately process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation Process employee expense reports and reimbursements Identify invoice discrepancies and work with purchasing, receiving, and vendors to resolve issues Ensure compliance with company policies, approval workflows, and internal controls Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and support 1099 reporting activities Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, account reconciliations, and invoice inquiries Prepare and process check, ACH, and wire payments during scheduled AP cycles Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and audit requests What they're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 3+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience , ideally within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment Experience working with high-volume invoice processing and vendor management Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment supporting multiple departments Employment type:Contract Pay:
