Accounting Coordinator (Bilingual English/Chinese)

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Coordinator to support the company's day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. The primary focus of this position is accurate QuickBooks data entry, routine AP and AR processing, basic account reconciliations, payroll support, and financial document organization. The ideal candidate has basic hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience, is proficient in QuickBooks, is fluent in English, and can independently complete routine tasks by following established procedures. Chinese language proficiency is a plus, as it will support communication with some internal stakeholders. This position does not require advanced financial analysis or independent responsibility for complex accounting matters. Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks.
  • Record vendor bills, customer invoices, payments, deposits, and other routine transactions.
  • Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.
  • Track outstanding customer balances and upcoming vendor payments.
  • Prepare payment information and submit it to management for approval.
  • Perform basic bank, credit card, and payment-platform reconciliations.
  • Collect and organize payroll-related information and supporting records.
  • Organize receipts, invoices, statements, and other accounting documentation.
  • Prepare routine accounting reports and supporting documents as requested.
  • Identify missing documents, duplicate transactions, or account discrepancies and report them to management.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect invoices, receipts, and other required information.
  • Maintain organized accounting files and financial records.
  • Provide basic accounting and administrative support as needed.
  • Perform other routine accounting-related duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience required.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks is required.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) required; Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer products, or product-based companies is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. What We Offer
