full-time Accounting Assistant Entertainment Industry | Century City, CA Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Pay:

$23-$26/hour, based on experience About the Role We're seeking an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-paced entertainment company in Century City. This is a great contract-to-hire opportunity for someone looking to build their accounting career while gaining exposure in the entertainment industry. Key Responsibilities Process, batch, and upload incoming payments and assign to appropriate accounts. Prepare and distribute checks, wires, and remittances. Assist with reconciliations, payment tracking, and vendor/client inquiries. Handle distribution of tax documents and other financial statements. Support onboarding of new clients, managers, and staff into the accounting system. Provide administrative support to the accounting team and escalate issues when necessary. Contribute to process improvement and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; some finance/accounting experience is a plus. Entertainment industry exposure is highly valued. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality.
