Please note this position is located in Escondido, CA. The Accounts Payable role supports Erickson-Hall Construction Company by performing a variety of accounting tasks, including—but not limited to—invoice processing, vendor management, expense tracking, and monthly reconciliation. This role requires an individual who has great attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without diminished accuracy.
Essential Duties:
Maintain accurate records and systems for invoices, payments, and related documents for auditing and tax reporting purposes. Process a high volume of invoices for payment daily with precision and accuracy. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently and accurately. Coordinate the preparation and distribution of checks. Prepare month-end accrual entries and other postings as necessary. Manage lien administration, including preliminary notices, waivers, and releases. Allocate vendor invoices to specific construction projects, cost codes, and job numbers to accurately reflect expenses in project budgets. Verify that transactions comply with any policies and procedures set by CFO. Communicate with vendors and answer questions regarding payments. Other accounting duties as requested
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
