Duties Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within multiple accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Reconcile balance sheets and perform account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data. Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing activities. Support project-specific cost tracking by analyzing job costs, reviewing subcontractor invoices, and ensuring proper coding. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion while maintaining compliance with controls. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping within a construction environment. Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Excellent numeracy skills combined with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while demonstrating strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and providing customer service support related to financial inquiries.
