Full Job Description About Us:
Prince Of Peace Enterprises, Inc. is a minority-owned, privately held company established in 1983, and headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a nationally recognized consumer goods Sales and Distribution company we pride ourselves on providing premium natural, nutritional, and gourmet branded products from around the world. Since its founding in 1983 the company has consistently grown and more often outpaced the growth in the categories where it conducts business. With 3 strategically located warehouses we service three functional sales businesses vertically integrated to the Mass Market, Health Food and Ethnic channels of trade across the U.S.A., Canada, and Internationally.
Hours:
16-24 hours per week
Schedule Options:
1.
Half-Days:
4 hours/day, Monday through Friday (20 hours total), or 2.
Full-Days:
2-3 full days of your choosing (16-24 hours total)
Responsibilities & Duties:
Monitors accounts receivable aging reports and follows up with customers on overdue payments, returned checks, credit card transactions, and credit card chargebacks. Researches and resolves accounts receivable issues (including validating deductions, billing discrepancies, disputes with customers, etc.). Performs daily deposit transaction recording and reconciliations. Maintains accounting records by making copies and filing documents. Processing and inputting high volumes of digital and paper invoices into the AP system. Performs other accounting and clerical duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. 1-2 years working experience in Accounting (A/R, A/P, Inventory, and Collection). Accuracy and attention to detail.
PC Skills:
MS Excel and Word.
Bilingual:
English & Chinese. Microsoft Dynamic GP experience is a plus. High school degree; associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
