Accounts Payable Specialist Salida Ag - Modesto, CA Part-time to Full-time | On-site About Salida Ag Salida Ag is a locally owned agricultural business providing high-quality ag chemicals, fertilizers, and crop input solutions to growers throughout the central valley. We are committed to reliable service, strong vendor relationships, and supporting our local ag community. We are looking for a dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. Job Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with our operations, sales, and inventory teams. Responsibilities Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and promptly Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices for ag chemicals and fertilizer inventory Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare weekly and monthly payment batches Maintain organized and accurate AP records Assist with month-end closing activities Communicate with vendors regarding account questions or billing issues Support general office and accounting tasks as needed Qualifications 1-3 years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience (industry experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Agvance, or similar preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Health and dental insurance options Eligibility may depend on hours worked Retirement plan Paid time off Supportive workplace in a family-oriented agricultural business Schedule Part-time to Full-time, depending on workload Monday to Friday Full-time, on-site How to Apply Submit your resume through Indeed or email it to Accounting@salidaag.
