In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for numbers, strong organizational skills, and experience in various accounting systems to contribute to our organization's financial health. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and possess a solid understanding of financial concepts and software. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, debits & credits, and account analysis using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently Maintain detailed records of financial transactions adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounting standards Conduct account reconciliation activities regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Assist with budgeting processes and provide support for financial report writing as needed Experience Proven bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles Hands-on experience with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and non-profit accounting is a plus Familiarity with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and general ledger accounting Strong grasp of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation procedures Demonstrated ability to manage spreadsheets effectively for budgeting and financial analysis purposes Join us if you're eager to apply your accounting expertise in a vibrant environment where your skills directly contribute to our organization's success!
