Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll / Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with strong full-cycle payroll and accounts payable experience, preferably in the construction industry. What You'll Do Payroll
- Process full-cycle construction and union payroll.
- Enter and verify employee timecards and job costing information.
- Process direct deposits and payroll checks.
- Handle federal and state tax payments.
- Process wage garnishments and 401(k) contributions.
- Ensure payroll is accurate and completed on schedule. Accounts Payable
- Process full-cycle accounts payable.
- Enter and code invoices.
- Process and distribute checks.
- Maintain accurate AP records and documentation. Requirements
- Full-cycle payroll and accounts payable experience required.
- Construction and union payroll experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with job costing is a plus.
- Proficiency with Sage 300 and Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and confidential financial information.
