In this vital role, you will manage our financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the preparation of accurate financial reports. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, facilitate smooth accounting operations, and contribute to our overall financial health. Duties Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Process a limited payroll and handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts regularly to ensure consistency across all records. Prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, analyze account activity. Assist in budgeting processes. Support audit preparations by maintaining organized documentation of all transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Conduct account analysis and general ledger reconciliation to uphold accurate financial records aligned with organizational policies. Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles. Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks Online. Solid knowledge of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes.
