Our goal is to connect local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist for a credit union in San Dimas .
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Process and verify vendor invoices and employee/volunteer expense reports. Manage accounts payable documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance. Issue payments and maintain records of transaction histories. Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries. Assist in reconciling vendor statements and account payable ledgers, preparing data for 1099-Misc filing. Collaborate with Accounting Team on audits and administrative financial tasks. Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and credit union operations as assigned, identifying discrepancies and researching/assisting with resolution. Prepare and maintain journal entries, adjustments, and accruals. Comply with all regulatory requirements for financial institutions, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending Regulations Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience: 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Solid grasp of accounting principles, reconciliations, and journal entries. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and in teams. Detail-oriented with accuracy in data handling and reporting. Accurate typing skills at 40wpm. Ability to exercise confidentiality. Regular attendance and punctuality. Ability to work as part of a team. Professional appearance.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm (flexible 40 hours per week)
Pay Rate:
$35/hour
Pay:
