Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will support our organization's financial health by performing essential bookkeeping functions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. Responsibilities Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently Prepare journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Assist with payroll processing and tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports as needed Maintain detailed records of all bookkeeping activities, including debits & credits, for audit readiness Requirements Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including GAAP and double-entry bookkeeping Knowledge of governmental accounting practices and non-profit accounting is a plus Familiarity with financial concepts such as balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation Ability to perform bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting accurately Excellent attention to detail with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance is preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Effective communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration with team members Join us in a role that is fundamental to our organization's success! Pay:
$26.58 - $32.01 per hour
