Job Description
Job Summary The Accounts Payable professional is responsible for managing the company's payable transactions. This role involves ensuring all vendor invoices are accurately recorded, approved, and paid in a timely manner, while adhering to internal accounting procedures and company policies. The position also plays a key role in maintaining positive relationships with vendors and providing accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities 1.
Expense Reporting:
•Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policy.
•Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. 2.
Month-End Closing:
•Assist in closing month-end by preparing journal entries and accruals.
•Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger. 3.
Compliance & Auditing:
•Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
•Assist in audits by providing supporting documentation and analysis. 4.
Reporting:
•Generate reports detailing the status of accounts payable.
•Track outstanding payables and ensure timely payments to vendors.
Pay:
$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
