  • Position Overview:
    Endocrinology NP/PA (Float Coverage)
  • Location:
  • Primarily Bonita, with potential for additional site coverage as needed
  • Duration of Coverage:
  • Immediate start upon credentialing, with an initial contract of 3 months and potential for extension
  • Practice Environment:
  • Outpatient clinic setting
  • Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break)
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse patient population, predominantly focusing on endocrinology: 70% Type I and Type II diabetes patients, including acute cases 20% osteoporosis management 5%+ transgender healthcare services Both in-person consultations and telehealth visits are part of the role Strong preference for candidates with Diabetic Educator Certification
  • On-Call Requirements:
  • None
  • Patient Volume:
  • Approximately 16 patients per day, inclusive of 4-6 new consultations and follow-up appointments
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
System:
  • EPIC
  • Credentialing Timeline:
  • Anticipated 90 days from application submission
  • Required Certifications:
  • Board Certification in relevant specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association approved)
  • State Licensure:
  • Active California license is mandatory
