Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage comprehensive accounting functions for our organization. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, experience with various financial software, and a proactive approach to managing complex bookkeeping tasks. Duties Manage full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Prepare and record journal entries ensuring accuracy in double-entry bookkeeping systems Reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure data integrity Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards where applicable Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Assist with month-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and audit support Manage payroll processing through systems like ADP while ensuring accuracy in employee hours and benefits data Perform detailed account analysis and data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail Support internal controls and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance initiatives to safeguard company assets Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations Qualifications Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, preferably within corporate or governmental settings Strong knowledge of GAAP, governmental accounting practices, and technical accounting principles Proficiency in multiple financial software platforms such as QuickBooks OnLine, ADP, Kronos or UltiPro is highly desirable Skilled in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel data analysis capabilities including spreadsheets and pivot tables Familiarity with accounting systems integration and financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management Excellent numeracy skills coupled with strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and account analysis Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high levels of integrity Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and supporting internal controls Join us as a Full Charge Bookkeeper to play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity while advancing your career within a vibrant organization committed to excellence!
