Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team in Walnut Creek, California on a Long-term Contract basis. This role focuses on managing a large volume of payables activity with accuracy and consistency across multiple properties. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, dependable work habits, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable activities for a portfolio of roughly 20 properties, ensuring timely and accurate handling of vendor invoices.
- Review, code, and enter approximately 250 invoices each week while maintaining complete and organized payment records.
- Assist with check run activities and support the processing of high monthly payment volumes.
- Handle move-out refund transactions with careful attention to documentation and accuracy.
- Perform routine data entry tasks related to payables and maintain reliable financial records.
- Provide accounts payable support during the AppFolio implementation and help sustain centralized payables processes throughout the rollout.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment questions, and related accounting issues.
