Job Description
Seeking an experience Accounts Payable Specialist in Brighton. This position is fully onsite. Pay up to $27/hr depending on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment in Microsoft Dynamics
- Print and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checks.
- Distributes signed checks as required.
- Answers all vendor inquiries.
- Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and accounts payable files.
- Assists Controller and division personnel as necessary.
- Prepares cleared checks for storage.
- Assists in monthly closings.
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
- Performs filing and coping.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Must meet the following to be considered:
- 3+ years of accounts payable and problem solving in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
- Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
- Quantity—meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
