Job Description

Overview:
El Dorado Bookkeeping Services provides professional bookkeeping to a wide variety of industries across the country. We pride ourselves on accurate, timely financial data and exceptional client relationships. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks proficiency to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in both independent and collaborative work and is confident communicating directly with clients. This position is in office. You will manage a dedicated book of clients across a range of industries, serving as a trusted point of contact for their day-to-day and month-to-month financial needs. Strong client communication is essential — you'll be building relationships and delivering top-quality service directly to the people who rely on your work. Beyond ongoing bookkeeping, you'll also take on complex clean-up projects that can span multiple years, bringing disorganized books current and accurate.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related area Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop Advanced MS Excel experience Proven experience in general ledger accounting and account reconciliation Ability to prepare accounting schedules to support monthly and annual reports Experience with monthly bank reconciliations High level knowledge of adjusting journal entries and credit/debit principles Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and invoicing Ability to meet and maintain strict deadlines Team-oriented and proactive work ethic Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and competently orally and in writing Able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
