Accounts Payable/General Ledger Clerk Greenwood Village, CO | Full-Time | On-Site Job Summary Baysore & Christian Fiduciary Services is seeking an Accounts Payable/General Ledger Clerk to join our Client Accounting team. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices and recording general ledger activity accurately and efficiently across client accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of financial transactions in a deadline-driven environment. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team focused on accuracy, consistency, and operational excellence. What you'll do
Accounts Payable:
Review and code invoices accurately by client and according to company accounting policies Verify invoice details including prices, payments and balance due Enter invoices into the accounts payable system for processing and payment Maintain supporting documentation and file in appropriate client files per company policies Track outstanding payments and follow up with appropriate fiduciary on payment status to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner Determine if stale payments need stop payment/re-issuance, and process as appropriate Set up vendor contact and payment information in accounting system Maintain vendor relationships and act as primary point of contact to resolve payment discrepancies and invoice issues Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
General Ledger:
Prepare, review, and post daily financial transactions and journal entries to client accounting records, including but not limited to fund transfers, deposits, drafts from bank accounts, corporate invoices to client accounts, gain/loss, and other investment activities Understand accounting and regulatory standards and post entries accordingly Ensure completeness of entries to client accounts at month-end Review financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) and ensure proper categorization Desired Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred 1+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or related field Strong digital fluency, including the ability to efficiently navigate business applications, manage files and documents, work across multiple systems, learn new software quickly, and independently resolve routine technical issues Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office (principally Excel) and PDF editing software Skills High degree of professionalism and strong people skills Excellent team player Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environment Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills
Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000 annually
FLSA Status:
Salary, non-exempt
