The BNSF Railway'sTransportation Departmentplays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe movement of goods across one of North America's largest freight rail transportation networks. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating and overseeing the complex logistics of rail transportation. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to safety, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our transportation services.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in implementing policy and the execution of the operating plan. Supervise TY&E employees and plan daily train and switching operations consistent with safety and efficiency. Conduct operations tests and safety meetings. Investigate accidents and injuries. Monitor and control costs to meet goals. Insure compliance with BNSF's equal employment policies, safety and operating rules, schedule agreements, and government regulations.
