Monday-Friday Compensation:
$50-60k Do you enjoy building relationships while keeping the numbers moving? We're working with an established Connecticut employer looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, cash application, collections, and customer account maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong accounting skills with excellent communication and customer service. You'll play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow while partnering with customers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally. What You'll Be Doing Generate accurate customer invoices and billing documentation Apply customer payments, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies Research short payments, deductions, and unapplied cash Partner with sales, customer service, and operations to resolve billing issues Prepare AR aging reports and support month-end close activities Maintain accurate customer records and documentation Recommend process improvements to strengthen collections and cash flow What We're Looking For 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, billing, or collections experience Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills ERP experience preferred Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Professional communication skills and confidence working directly with customers High attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing deadlines Why You'll Love This Opportunity Join a respected Connecticut organization with a strong reputation Collaborative accounting team and supportive leadership Opportunity to take ownership of the receivables process Competitive compensation and excellent benefits Build valuable experience that can lead to broader accounting opportunities EB-1116781281
