Job Description
Sage 100 Contractor Accounting Specialist (Part-Time)Join Our Team The RoDav Group is a growing commercial concrete and masonry contractor located in Lake Mary, Florida. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with hands-on experience using Sage 100 Contractor to support our accounting department. This is not an entry-level position. Previous experience with Sage 100 Contractor is required. Applicants without Sage 100 Contractor experience will not be considered. Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices in Sage 100 Contractor Prepare weekly vendor payments Reconcile vendor statements Enter and reconcile company credit card transactions Code expenses to the appropriate jobs and cost codes Maintain vendor files, W-9s, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and compliance documentation Prepare and track Notices to Owner (NTOs), Notices of Commencement (NOCs), lien waivers, and related construction documents Maintain accurate accounting records and electronic filing systems Assist with month-end accounting tasks Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payment inquiries Perform additional accounting and office support duties as needed Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using Sage 100 Contractor Experience with Accounts Payable Strong understanding of construction accounting procedures Experience with job costing and cost codes Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Preferred Experience working for a commercial general contractor or subcontractor Familiarity with lien documentation and construction compliance Knowledge of Florida construction accounting practices Schedule Part-Time (20-30 hours per week) Monday-Friday Flexible daytime hours Compensation Compensation is based on experience, starting at $17-$20/hr.
