Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing various payment methods. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product demos, and upselling items to enhance the shopping experience. Maintain knowledge of store products through merchandising and retail store product knowledge to assist customers effectively. Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting. Demonstrate phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-up calls. Support team members by supervising or mentoring new cashiers and participating in stock management activities. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for accurate transactions. Prior supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus. Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations. Strong communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and clear verbal interactions.
