In this role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support our organization's financial health, streamline bookkeeping processes, and contribute to the preparation of financial reports. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar systems Prepare and record journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping transactions, and general ledger adjustments in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Process payroll and ensure timely payroll reporting while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations Assist in budgeting processes and financial report writing to support organizational decision-making Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including debits & credits, account reconciliation reports, and bank statements Support internal audits and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Specialist with a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of corporate accounting practices as well as non-profit accounting if applicable Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management Familiarity with financial concepts including GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account analysis Excellent skills in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting purposes Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records under tight deadlines Strong communication skills to clearly explain financial data and collaborate effectively with team members Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to maintaining impeccable financial records while supporting the growth and stability of our organization.
