We provide comprehensive cannabis testing for potency, homogeneity, heavy metals, microbial contamination, mycotoxins, residual solvents, terpenes, and pesticides.

Job Purpose:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will perform diverse duties within the accounting department.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for multiple company locations and legal entities. Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts, departments, locations, and entities. Enter invoices and payment information accurately into the accounting system. Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks, ACH, and other approved payment methods. Reconcile vendor statements and investigate invoice or payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation for multiple states and entities. Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status, payment questions, missing documentation, and discrepancies. Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and other required tax and payment documentation. Assist with ensuring invoices and payments are processed in accordance with applicable state requirements and company policies. Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with maintaining established payment schedules. Assist with employee expense reports and reimbursement processing, as needed. Support month-end close activities, including accounts payable reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Assist with intercompany reconciliations across multiple company entities and locations. Provide invoices, payment records, vendor documentation, and other support for internal and external audits. Follow company approval procedures, internal controls, and accounting policies. Assist the finance team with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Education Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or general business administration preferred. Sage X3 Experience (2-3 years)
